I don't hand you a slide deck. I build the systems I use every day, then set up the same kind for you.

What I do for you

  • Find the jobs that eat the most time in your week and can safely be handed to AI.
  • Build the AI helpers, test them on your real work and show your team how to use them.
  • Put approval steps where they matter, so you decide what sends automatically and what waits for your OK before it goes to a customer, gets posted or gets paid.
  • Custom software and company-specific apps: tools built for how your business works, including mobile apps built to be submitted to the Apple App Store and Google Play. For example, I built and shipped the HelloTap web app with AI coding help.
  • App connectors: connecting your apps through their APIs, so your CRM, payments, email and accounting share data, so nobody types the same thing twice. I've connected HelloTap to Stripe payments and Google sign-in, and, for a roofing company, linked CompanyCam with Roofr so job photos flowed into estimating.
  • More I can build for you with AI: Websites and landing pages, chat assistants for your customers, AI agents that answer calls and texts, dashboards and reports, marketing content (posts, emails, ads, images and video), data cleanup, internal tools, and proposal drafts. Each one goes in your written estimate, with approval steps where they matter. AI call and text agents say they're AI, follow consent and call-recording rules, and honor STOP; images and video never show real people or reviews without permission.

Consulting: hourly work

Price: $500 an hour. You get a written estimate of the hours before any work starts.

That hourly rate covers everything above: I find your biggest time drains, build and test the automations, set up your approval steps and train your team.

What you get

  1. Company handbook: how your business works, your services, prices, voice and the rules your agents follow, written once so every agent works from the same page.
  2. A role card for each agent: what the agent does, what it can use, what it must never do, and who it reports to.
  3. Skill library: step-by-step instructions for your repeat jobs, such as quotes, follow-ups and weekly reports, that your agents reuse.
  4. Approval rulebook: what an agent can finish on its own, what needs a person's OK, and what it never touches.
  5. Routine schedule: which agent does what, and when (for example, a morning summary or a Friday report).
  6. One-page review guide: how your team checks an agent's work, what to look for, and when to send it back.
  7. Team training: a live session so your people know how to ask, check and approve.

Invoice follow-up: polite automatic reminders with a pay-now link 2 2 x $35 x 50 = about $3,500

Review requests: the same request sent to every customer after each job 1 1 x $35 x 50 = about $1,750
Marketing and lead generation: posts drafted from job photos and scheduled, follow-ups to past customers who agreed to hear from you (texts only with written consent, with an easy opt-out), new leads routed to you 3 3 x $35 x 50 = about $5,250
Bookkeeping agent: set up to keep the books. It sorts transactions, flags unusual charges and drafts a weekly profit and loss for you or your bookkeeper to review. It's read-only, never moves money and gives no tax or accounting advice. (Invoicing is in the invoice follow-up row.) 4 4 x $28 x 50 = about $5,600

Daily briefings: a morning and afternoon update on what's new, what's stuck and what needs your OK 1.5 1.5 x $42 x 50 = about $3,150
Competitor watch: an AI agent tracks competitors' public prices and offers and sends you a short summary of what changed 1 1 x $45 x 50 = about $2,250

Estimates use hours x $35/hr admin cost (or $37/hr for paralegal-type work, $28/hr for bookkeeping, $23/hr for customer service, $42/hr for executive-assistant work and $45/hr for market research) x 50 work weeks. Hours are our own assumptions, informed by industry and vendor surveys on time spent on admin, scheduling, payment chasing and marketing (sources on request). $35/hr is below the roughly $39/hr that California admin assistants cost with benefits, estimated from their median pay of about $26.64/hr (BLS OEWS, May 2025, California, SOC 43-6014) and BLS's national ratio of employer cost to pay for office and admin staff (June 2026). $37/hr is just under California's median paralegal pay of $37.21/hr (BLS, May 2025). $28/hr is just under the $28.48/hr California median for bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerks (BLS, May 2025). $23/hr is just under the $23.83/hr California median for customer service representatives, and $42/hr is just under the $42.79/hr median for executive secretaries and executive administrative assistants (BLS, May 2025). Our planning assumptions are about 24 routine customer calls or texts a week at 5 minutes each, and two short briefings a day at about 9 minutes each. $45/hr is just under the $45.53/hr California median for market research analysts and marketing specialists (BLS, May 2025); the competitor-watch assumption is about 6 competitors' public pages checked for 10 minutes each a week. Our planning assumption is 4 bookkeeping hours a week. In a Cornerstone Advisors survey of 750 U.S. small-business owners and executives (Q4 2023, businesses with $50,000 to $1 million in revenue), owners reported averages of 4.3 hours a week on bookkeeping, 4.2 on expense tracking and 4.2 on financial reporting. Tool costs aren't subtracted, and extra jobs from faster replies or fewer no-shows aren't counted. Your numbers will differ. We don't promise lead counts, revenue or hours saved.

5 hours, $2,500 about $4,280; ROI 71% about $17,434; ROI 597% about $74,834; ROI 2,893% about $146,584; ROI 5,763%

Each example is modeled on work I've done with my AI agents for my own businesses; some automations shown are ones I'd build new for you. Professional hours are our estimates, not measured results. Pay is California median hourly pay (BLS OEWS, May 2025, before benefits): software developers $83.85 (SOC 15-1252), web and digital interface designers $65.44 (15-1255), software testers $61.89 (15-1253), accountants $46.66 (13-2011), marketing specialists $45.53 (13-1161), copywriters $41.58 (BLS: writers and authors, 27-3043), paralegals $37.21 (23-2011), HR specialists $40.14 (13-1071), compliance officers $46.63 (13-1041), social media strategists $40.88 (BLS: public relations specialists, 27-3031), graphic designers $36.12 (27-1024), business / executive consultants $48.78 (BLS: management analysts, 13-1111). Illustrative first-year value = human work avoided plus a year of savings from the rows above; ROI = (value minus fee) ÷ fee, rounded. Each line is rounded to the dollar, then summed. Cumulative figures count the human work avoided once, add the yearly automation savings for each year they run (1 month = a twelfth of a year), and count the fee once. The 1-month figures are positive mainly because the one-time professional work avoided is worth more than the fee; one month of automation savings is a smaller part. Agents can run around the clock, but we count only the human work they replace, at the hours shown. Cumulative ROI = (cumulative value minus fee) ÷ fee. These figures leave out ongoing tool, hosting and AI subscription costs and upkeep, assume the work stays the same, and use no inflation or discounting. No monthly tool cost for these automations is on file; your written estimate would list any. In the 1-hour example, most of the estimated value comes from a year of automation savings, not the hour itself. Agents draft and people review; contract drafts go to an attorney or you. AI doesn't give legal advice or replace a licensed professional. Your written estimate sets the hours. Estimates, not results; we don't promise savings or ROI.

Start with a short call about your biggest time drain.
